Lion Susan Staley has been a member of the Siler City Lions Club since June 2018. She has served as Club secretary since July 2021. Lion Susan has a desire to serve the community. She organized the first Community Resource Fair along with a COVID Vaccine Clinic, and the Siler City Lions Club Scholarship for the Jordan-Matthews Leos.
Lion Susan is an Honor graduate of Alamance Community College with an Associate of Arts Degree. She has been employed since 2008 with the Alamance-Burlington School System working with Exceptional Children (EC, special needs). She has also been employed part-time since 2011 with the NC Zoo.
Lion Susan is zealous to advocate for individuals and their circumstances, guiding and redirecting them in a more deliberate direction. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening, and organizing events for her family, friends, and co-workers. She enjoys bringing joy to others. Lion Susan is delighted to be mom to her son Nicholas, and loves being called Susie by Ayden, Lennox, and Leo.
